Wrestling City Tactics

Win the match. Book the city.

Wrestling City Tactics is a turn-based tactics RPG where every match is a battle of position, timing, and ego. Build a roster of original wrestling personas, take them to the grid, and steer the storylines that decide who runs the city.

What it is

Wrestling City Tactics is what happens when a tactics RPG learns to work the crowd. Every match plays out on a grid, turn by turn — position your wrestlers, set up the spot, and pick the moment the finish lands. Between bells, you’re running the show: scouting talent, building a stable, and growing a roster of original personas with egos as big as their move sets. And because this is wrestling, winning is only half the job. Rivalries simmer, alliances crack, faces turn heel — and every result writes the next chapter of a city-wide storyline. The drama isn’t a cutscene between fights. It’s the campaign. Plan the match like a general. Book the aftermath like a promoter.

Feature pillars

Combat on the Grid

Matches are turn-based and played on a grid, where a smart angle beats a strong arm. Read the board, control space, and chain positioning into momentum — because the wrestler who picks the right square picks the finish.

Build Your Stable

Scout, sign, and develop a roster of originals. Build factions around alliances and competing agendas — then decide who teams up, who splits off, and whose banner is flying when the city’s biggest matches get booked. Loyalty, like everything in this business, is negotiable.

Original Personas Only

No borrowed faces, no licensed legends — every wrestler in the city is an original creation with their own look, history, and in-ring philosophy. The gimmick isn’t a costume; it’s a strategy. Build around your stars, and the city learns their names.

Kayfabe Runs Deep

Wins and losses feed an unfolding drama of rivalries, betrayals, and heel turns. Stories spill out of the ring and across the city — and the smartest players book the match and the aftermath. Protect the kayfabe. Play the long con.
